I love you travel quotes. Some are really funny and there are definitely some I will copy to my little notebook..

I love Bill Bryson’s and Will Roger’s quotes! Somewhere, I have a few good ones stashed away, but my mind is too numb from excessive teaching.

I have always loved the quote about “roots and wings”. Thanks for sharing these! I am always in the mood for travelling…for now it will have to be virtual, only!

Greetings from Italy

I saw your comments on Monkeys on the Roof and came to pay you a visit. I like your travel quotes. I already used the one by Proust on one of my post. How about this one: “Travel: “Is not this the true romantic feeling – not to desire to escape life, but to prevent life from escaping you?“ – Tom Wolfe. I am intrigued by all the countries where you lived. I shall be back to read more of your past posts.

Some interesting and funny travel quotes.
