I am so happy whenever I see an email from your blog. Your posts never cease to amaze and amuse me and your photos are brilliant! I travelled a fair bit in the early 70’s throughout Africa as an (unofficial) co-pilot delivering planes to Flying Doctor Service. It took 40 Flying hours to get to our destination from England. The ‘Wild West’ had nothing on rural Africa in those days, sadly I have to rely upon my memory as I did not have a camera in those days, so this post made me laugh and remember all the things that I was asked to take out for people. Mad but happy days.
