in books, Expat life

If you’ve read my blog posts even once, you’ll know I have loose feet and write about my (mis)adventures living and traveling abroad. I’ve also written 30 plus romance novels. I’m a writer. I love writing stories, true ones or made-up ones.

Some time ago I was invited by a group of multi-published authors to participate in the creation of a new e-book publishing company, one to sell e-books straight from writer to reader at modest prices, having no middleman to deal with. Easy? Not so much, but we did it and here it is. Many kudos to my friend Pat!

We proudly announce the launch of www.AWritersWork.com, a new e-book publisher owned and operated by multi-published authors (Miss Footloose, aka Karen van der Zee, among them). A Writer’s Work came about under the direction of Pat McLaughlin (Patricia McLinn) when a number of novelists realized that a group of authors could reach a formidable audience if they banded together to offer old favorites and new discoveries directly to readers. The authors at www.AWritersWork.com believe their work will never be done as long as there are readers who love a good story. For more information, please visit www.AWriter’sWork.com or contact Pat McLaughlin at info@awriterswork.com. Participating authors may be contacted via links to their websites.

So there you have it! Check it out and find something good to read on A Writer’s Work, be it contemporary romance, suspense, women’s fiction, historical romance, mainstream, non-fiction and so on.

Two of my books are available on www.AWritersWork.com:

You’re Moving
Where? is non-fiction, containing true stories of my expat life. Excerpts of some of these were published as posts on this blog. You can read the first chapter free online.

THE PRICE OF A MAN is a lighthearted contemporary romance novel you might enjoy if romance is your cup if tea or glass of wine. You can read the first chapter free online.
